Profonda insenatura, situata nella costa W del Monte Argentario a circa 1,1 Nm a SE dell’isolotto dell’Argentarola, contornata da pareti rocciose che scendono gradualmente in mare. L’insenatura è molto affollata d’estate per via dei numerosi alberghi presenti sulla costa; in estate è chiusa al traffico di natanti con cordoni galleggianti. Adatta per una sosta balneare. E’ possibile dar fondo all’ancora all’imboccatura dell’insenatura.
