Description
Splendid bay and very famous that opens in the corner SW of the island of Ponza. It opens between Capo Bianco and Punta Fieno, it is fringe to the shore by a tongue of sand and behind from a pure white high cliff. The largest part of the beach is not accessible for safety reasons, there are frequent landslides from the cliff. The beach can be reached from the port of Ponza with a tunnel dug during Roman age.
You can anchor at the centre of the bay, remaining at about 300 m from the shore.
