Description
The harbour consists of two breakwaters moles, one southern and the other eastern, and of a pier with three arms. Inside it is almost entirely quayed, there are 3 moles of which only one intended for pleasure, and 2 docks located at NW and at NE of the port, reserved to pleasure boats, fishing units and military units. The first dock is the darsena Pamphili, which is situated in the part NE. The stretch of the quay starting from the head of the pier up to 42 m is intended for the mooring of units of the armed forces and the police. The second dock is reserved for small units for professional fishing of the residents of Anzio.

Access mode to the landing-place
- The access to the port opens between the heads of two breakwaters moles, reported by regular lights.
- For the one who comes from N or W is advisable, to the units with a draft greater than 3.60 m, to remain at a distance of 0,50 NM from the lighthouse of Anzio.
- When you join the crosspiece of the headlight, proceed with course 090° up to the left crosspiece of the red light of the input.
- Then proceed with course 049° until you get to the crosspiece of the Villa Borghese, then point to the same conspicuous point up to the alignment with the side straight signal inside the harbour basin and the stable of the local Coast Guard (yellow building in the background).
- Pull over at the input of the Port of Anzio assuming 245°, leaving the side green signal inner on their starboard at a distance not less than 20 m anyway not more than 50 m.
- For the one who comes from S, it is advisable to land by taking as reference the grey building of Villa Borghese on the coast and then pull over in the entrance to the harbour with course 245° along the directory constituted by the alignment with the straight side signal inside, leaving it at not less than 20 m.
- The entry channel is delimited by the head of the southern breakwater pier and by the green beacon at the centre of the mouth.
- Cross the channel leaving the green beacon to 20 m on the starboard side and head for the mooring according to the indications of the local staff.
- Before entering the port, it is necessary to contact the maritime authority on channel 16 to know the current positioning of sandbanks.
- The entry of night is not recommended due to the continuous cover up inside the port.
- The boats with a draft greater than 3 m must contact beforehand the maritime authority.
