Description: The mouth is directed to NW. The Port of Ponza is limited to N from a cliff breakwater that protects the breakwater extending parallel to it, creating a small beach between the two. The port can accommodate internally a limited number of boats on the left entering. The starboard side, is reserved for fishing boats. The pleasure boat docks also in roadstead in particular with bad weather. In the middle of the beach in front of the beach of harbour, is located a wharf, for replenishment. In front quay, entering, moor ferries and to the right side of these were prepared 4 floating pontoons. In total the port has 200 berths per unit of maximum length 35 m.

- Access to the port opens between the head of the cliff of outer, declared by the light red, and the rock Ravia, extreme NW of the creek, which is signalled by the green light.
- Cross the access with the directory WSW, keeping a distance from the red light in the header of the cliff and paying attention to the transport line in operation.
- Direct to the mooring to floating piers located in part s of the harbour basin and moor according to the indications of the local staff.
- Alternatively anchor in roadstead in the area of NW of the harbour, near by the winds of W - NW, outside however from the manoeuvring area of the ferries.
