Darsena Romana

The Port of Civitavecchia is protected to W and to S from the long front wall Colombo, from the front wall Traiano and from the front wall Umberto I. It is possible to access via a channel wide around 170 m that follows the trend of the front wall. The landing consists of 2 smaller docks, an outer formed by 5 pontoons that depart from the cemented quay oriented to W, and a more inner formed by two moles oriented to NE.

Santa Severa

The dock is approximately 0.8 NM NW from the castle of Santa Severa, and is formed by two piers parallel to coast, cliff externally quay internally. It is a small marina under concession, is home of small pleasure boats and commercial fishing boats, only for members.

Marina di Nettuno

The tourist harbour of Marina di Nettuno is enclosed between an outer jetty with three arms, and from an inner pier reported by lights. It possible to access through a dredged channel. It is constituted by a breakwater entrance and 2 small docks from which it is subsequently accessed respectively to the old basin and the new basin, all quayed. Inside there are 14 floating pontoons.

Rio Martino

The mouth of the Rio Martino, at the mouth of the lakes Fogliano and Monaci, constitutes a marina. Two moles reported by regular lights protect the access. The seabed at the mouth are subject to continuous variations. The entry/exit from the harbour is granted only to vessels with a draft not exceeding 0,80 m only with good weather conditions.

Porto Badino

The channel harbour of Porto Badino is located inside the river Portatore and hosts pleasure craft. The mouth is about 30 m large and is protected by two cliffs, both regularly reported in the head. Inside, both banks are quayed for about 300 m and equipped with mooring eyes. At 330 m from the mouth, little more upstream of Torre Badino, the channel is crossed by an iron bridge that allows the passage of units high up to 4 m. Upstream of the bridge, parallel to sides, there are floating wharves for the mooring of pleasure craft.

Anzio

The harbour consists of two breakwaters moles, one southern and the other eastern, and of a pier with three arms. Inside it is almost entirely quayed, there are 3 moles of which only one intended for pleasure, and 2 docks located at NW and at NE of the port, reserved to pleasure boats, fishing units and military units. The first dock is the darsena Pamphili, which is situated in the part NE. The stretch of the quay starting from the head of the pier up to 42 m is intended for the mooring of units of the armed forces and the police. The second dock is reserved for small units for professional fishing of the residents of Anzio.

Scauri

The dock of Scauri is located to W of the cliff La Carena. It consists of a small dock quay, well sheltered from all winds, protected by an outer breakwater. Inside are placed two docks concrete parallel to the coast.

Terracina

The channel harbour of Terracina is located inside the channel Pio VI, which has both sides quayed. It is protected to S from the Gregorian pier, along 400 m, of which 180 m quayed and to N from a hairpin quayed breakwater dock. The latter one, with the shore and another inside pier, defines the dock of Levante, which is accessible entering immediately to starboard. In its interior, floating pontoons are positioned parallel to the quays of the protection moles. Another dock, Vecchia Darsena, is located more inside: it is accessible from the left bank of the port channel; in it, there are two small slipways.

Canale dei Pescatori

The landing is located along the Canale dei Pescatori and stretches inland for about 40 m. It’s used by small fishing and private boats, with minimum draft. Currently the port is unusable because it’s covered up.

Riva di Traiano

The port of Riva di Traiano is located immediately to NNW of Torre Marangone, between Civitavecchia and Capo Linaro. It is protected by an outer dyke slightly curved and parallel to the coast, long about 1000 m and from an inner pier of 250 m, perpendicular to the coast. The mouth is facing NNW. The port comprises, in the most inner part, a wide basin of evolution. The harbour is completely quayed and has twelve mooring wharfs, in concrete, parallel to each other and perpendicular to the shore. The two moles are reported at the head by regular lights.
