Formia

Formia new harbor is protected to S by an elbow outer breakwater (west pier) and to E by an elbow breakwater (Pescatori pier). The first arm of the west pier has internal quays. The second arm does not allow the berth because protected by cliffs. The first arm of Pescatori pier has also internal quays. In the western part of the harbor there are some piers in concession. Two docks, one located in the port, in the middle of the northern bank, the other out of the harbor, close to Torre Mola, are used by fishing boats without masts, because you can access by sailing under road bridges.

Foce Sisto

The port Foce Sisto is a shelter port for small boats. The mouth is about 15 m wide and is protected by two long cliff back anchors about 30 m long and oriented to SSE

Foce del Fiora

The port is located on the right bank of the Fiora river, near the mouth. It consisting of docks in wood on stilts. In summer small pleasure boats can moor on a stretch of the quay of the right in concession to a private person. The mouth of the river Fiora is protected by two cliffs long 340 m and 230 m and reported at the head by lanterns. Inside the Port – channel find shelter small fishing vessels.

Fiumicino

Fiumicino port is a canal port, which extends along the quays banks of the navigable channel, obtained thanks to the prolongation towards the sea of the ancient Trajan pit. So this is an internal port that develops in the background and not towards the sea. Despite the vessels (especially those recreational) are situated along all 7.7 km of the waterway, the real port itself is the one between the lifting bridge, “June 2”, and the mouth for a length of 1.2 km. The port area includes a small dock that opens onto a 600 m long jetty at the mouth of the river.

Civitavecchia

The port of Civitavecchia is protected to the west and to the south by the long Colombo rampart, from Trajan rampart and Umberto I rampart. You can access it through a channel about 170 m wide that follows the rampart trend; It consists of large basins. The basin reserved to pleasure boats is situated in the final part of the port.
