Ampia baia, ben riconoscibile dal largo poiché al suo estremo NE è situato un grande stabilimento della Fincantieri. Il paese non ha il fascino delle vicine località turistiche, ma offre un discreto ancoraggio. Lo scoglio di Riva Trigoso si chiama « Asseu » ed è molto caro agli abitanti di Riva. E’ collegato alla terra ferma da un pontile in cemento e c’è una scaletta per raggiungere la cima dove c’è una croce. Consigliata per solo per soste diurne. E’ possibile dare fondo nella parte w della baia, davanti all’omonimo paesino, a circa 150 m dalla spiaggia.
